Grand Marshal & Community Ambassadors
The Northeast Minneapolis community is full of good-hearted and civically involved residents and business leaders who contribute to our quality of life. Take a moment and nominate a deserving person for the honor of Grand Marshal or one of our Community Ambassadors for the 2025 Celebrate Northeast Parade.
Nominees for Grand Marshal should possess a number of qualities to be considered a candidate:

A long-standing presence in the Northeast Community
-
Highly visible contributions to the community that have had a lasting impact
Involvement in various aspects of the community, i.e.: business, volunteering, faith communities and social service organizations
Individuals can also be nominated in one of the following Community Ambassador categories and should possess similar qualities as the Grand Marshal:

Volunteer
-
Business/Business Leader
-
Artist/Arts Supporter
The members of the volunteer parade committee will review all the nominations and select a winner in late May. Winners will be notified shortly thereafter. The Grand Marshal and Community Ambassadors will be asked to submit a short biography and a photo for publication on the Celebrate Northeast Parade website and will appear in the pre-parade edition of the Northeaster. Winners will also be asked to ride along the parade route.
