On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 6:30 PM, the streets of NE Minneapolis will once again come alive with the energy, creativity, and community spirit that make this neighborhood so special. The Celebrate NE Minneapolis Parade is more than just a summer tradition—it’s a vibrant showcase of the people, performances, and organizations that bring our community to life.
This year is especially meaningful as we extend our sincere thanks to Christine Levens and the Minneapolis Chamber for their dedicated leadership over the past 20 years. Their commitment has helped shape this parade into the beloved event it is today. As we look ahead, the NE Minneapolis Lions Club, together with passionate community members, have stepped forward to carry this tradition forward and ensure its continued success.
As with any transition, there are always a few delays and bumps along the way. The 2026 NE Minneapolis Parade is getting a later start than usual, and we are working hard to reach our fundraising goals to make this event everything our community expects and deserves.
